Croquet player

A prominent croquet player, Grieve won 28 club championships at Mooroopna after starting at the association in the 1970s.

Honoured with life membership at the club, Grieve also served as president, secretary and treasurer among other roles.

Her croquet record at Australian level was just as spectacular, being crowned Australian Ladies Champion in 1985, 1986 and 1987 and representing the country in international competition against New Zealand.

Grieve also won five Victorian division one ladies’ championships.
