Jack Halsall

Halsall grew up around motorcycles and at the age of 18 obtained his first machine and joined the local Shepparton Motorbike Club to start his racing career.

He and his mates went to an old horse racing track and gained some experience of high speed racing.

After taking up competitive racing, his first win came at 22 years old, when he won a double at the Phillip Island circuit.

He won the Victorian Grand Prix and Australian 500cc motorcycle championship.

He was an operator of Halsall’s motorcycle business, and was also a top local cricketer and secretary of Shepparton Cricket Association.
